MonalisalocsTM also offers, in addition to its technique, a registered trademark of the same name, which offers a line of products for natural hair and all types of locs. Our products are made from Caribbean ingredients like avocado, honey, hibiscus and many other wonders of nature
THE ACADEMY
The MonalisalocsTMAcademy is a turnkey training system that allows people who want to start a new job or increase their skills and improve their skills, to learn a valuable technique that will serve them for life

We are based in Barbados but we also offer our services on different Caribbean islands
including Saint Lucia, Martinique, Guadeloupe, and very soon in other islands such as Jamaïca,
Antigua, St Barthélémy, Grenada, Trinidad & Tobago, French Guyana or even France

How to define Lisa ?
" Certificated MonalisalocsTM head master specialist ? My work colleague ? My friend ? A passionate ? A passionate perfectionist ? All that at once ?
We have been working together for over 8 years. 8 years now that she has been going back and forth between Barbados and Martinique
We each have our place in this collaboration that unites us. She meticulously takes care of the installations and the repairs when she is in Martinique and when she leaves, I take over. We trust each other and have the same vision of the quality of work to offer "
" Lisa has always wanted to create a technique of locs that requires little maintenance and little investment in time while having versatility and elegance. Her journey began 17 years ago when she invested in herself by making her move. Following her installation, she followed her first certifying training in locs in the United States. She then opened her salon in Barbados and began to develop her clientele there.
I met him when I wanted to install my locks and there was no one in Martinique or Guadeloupe who offered it.Having previously lived in Barbados, I looked for a consultant there and came across Lisa. The contact is immediately made with her
I traveled with my husband and my 6 month old baby and on my return I FINALLY had my locsProblem : No one in Martinique could maintain them...
So I asked Lisa if she would agree to come and work in Martinique, once a month
She accepted and we gradually worked together to develop her activity on our island
1 year later, I also trained in order to be able to replace Lisa if ever one day she could not come to Martinique (which happened with the covid). During this period, Lisa had the time to create her own technique of locs, to patent it and to set up a training to allow anyone from the Caribbean who wishes to train without having to travel to France or the United States.
Today, Lisa and I work together and we describe ourselves as not just associates, but part of the same family "

A meeting and a golden person
" I met Clarisse in 2014 and it was an instant connection between us, as if we knew each other for a lifetime. I remember that every morning I would go pick her up, we would stop and buy porridge, because I started working on her hair from 4:00 a.m. until 12:00 midnight for 2 days
She came to Barbados because there was nobody in Martinique able to do the locs she wanted. So she came here to have her installation done and she came back every other month to Barbados to have her re-locking done for about 6 months. One day she asked me if I wanted to come to Martinique to do Locs because there was nobody in Martinique doing this special type of locs "" In 2017 I created MonalisalocsTM 🎉
It took me a little while to get it going but covid came and give me that extra push and the time that I needed to put it on the market
When I told Clarisse that I have been creating my own brand of locs she was very excited about it.
We have been working together for 8 years and now, we have a stronger bond with MonalisalocsTM that we define as our baby.
We have been pushing it every step of the way and I thank God everyday for meeting Clarisse and knowing her.
I have never met such a genuine, honest, pleasant, hard-working, ambitious and beautiful person inside and out.
God has truly blessed me with not only my true best best friend but my family.
From this day on we are getting better and better each and every day with the grace of God
